Recording of Parenting Talk: Creating a Consent Culture

The 'Everyone's Invited expose'  which has received over 40,000 anonymous testimonies left many parents of teens around the UK shocked and concerned. 

How do we raise them to treat one another with respect; how to we help them stand up to unhelpful peer pressure, combat coercion and understand what consent actually means. We will also look at the more disturbing issues facing our kids today including pornography, rape culture and sexual harassment.

Our speaker, Bekah Legg, CEO of Restored, a  charity working to speak up about violence against women, has long experience of helping facilitate these conversations.
