Nicola Morriss

Nicola qualified as an Intellectual Property  lawyer working primarily on international patent disputes for large pharma clients. She took a career break to raise her three children before returning to work, and now works as a charities lawyer in London.

Nicola qualified as a Circle of Security facilitator in 2016 and has since run courses for groups, couples and individuals.  Nicola is also a qualified life coach.  She is passionate about helping people understand the potential they have for transforming their world through better relationships and, in particular, loves working with parents and seeing the difference that the Circle of Security parenting course makes to them and their children.

Lindsey Hayward

Lindsey trained worked for many years as a Paediatric Physiotherapist and latterly as a Montessori teacher. She has helped to run Hold Me Tight courses and is a Circle of Security facilitator. She is a mother of three girls and a grandmother.

Anita Jones

Anita is a trained secondary school teacher specialising in English and Drama. For the last 8 years she has been running Circle of Security Parenting groups at the Connected Lives London Hub and helping to introduce the approach across the UK.

A mother of four, she uses her experiences to connect with parents to promote empathic and reflective parenting.


Jonna Sercombe

Our Chairman of Trustees Jonna Sercombe is a Cognitive Scientist and member of the British Psychological Society who for the last 20 years has pioneered world class people development work in the corporate education sector. Much of the focus of this work has been the connection and communication between members of teams, including using attachment based strategies for team and leadership cohesion, working with over 10,000 executives at many world renowned companies. 

As CEO and Founder of Interactive Workshops he leads a dynamic, growing business working on every habitable continent in the world providing outstanding learning and training workshops to professionals in all sectors. He is also CEO and founder of Bandit Capital, an investment firm focused on London commercial real estate.

He has written three books, The Agile Secret, Team by Team (which became a Number 1 bestseller in HR), and the ebook Chat: Natter that Matters. 

Married to Stephanie with two children hobbies include cycling, running, reading, writing, poker and chess. .

Maggie Sandilands

Maggie Sandilands is a humanitarian aid worker with over 15 years experience working with NGOs and the UN, in various countries including Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Iraq. Her work has focused on responding to gender-based violence in conflict and humanitarian contexts. Now leading a quieter life in London.
